Oh, and Han Solo went to the Academy in the “Han Solo Trilogy” for one though it doesn’t go into it much beyond extrapolating a bit further on the “Imperial officer kicked out of the service for defending a wookie slave” thing that is mentioned a few times throughout the novel series.

I’m sorry, were you referring to me? I can’t seem to get the previous comments to come back but no I haven’t bought nor read any Star Wars novels since “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” (Order 66) which I only read because I’d already paid for it through Amazon. After the Legacy of the Force series and that dismal half assed ending Denning shoveled out of a gutter someplace I just can’t get interested in the Star Wars EU at all anymore.

The truth is that I like the TV series Smallville, because that is where we can see exactly what is not counted in the Superman films. My girlfriend and I call it the “super-mens” or “super-silly”, ProQuad must learn to live and defend the land. For me it has been a great series. Since not all follow the comics.

Are these books worth the time to bother with even from the library? I haven’t bought any since Invincible and don’t really have much of an interest in rereading any of my old ones that are up in the rafters of the garage these days (knowing what happens…) but I’m going out of town for about three weeks.

Yeah, that about sums up my impression of the series. The Sith in the senate made no sense at all. Really, much of this series doesn’t make any sense. Which explains why I’m only getting these from the library. First SW, post trilogy, series that I haven’t purchased.

This show sucked. I wanted to like it, but what started out as minor nonsensical emotional bs, turned into complete chaos or nonsensical bs. By series 2 no one makes any sense in their decisions. Characters are stoic in one episode and emotional messes in the next. There’s no linear characteristics to anyone, or to the mob itself. One minute we’re building windmills for Jericho and the next we’re mortoring it for some flimsy reason. The writing seemed lazy, lazy, lazy and incoherrent. Focusing on interpersonal crap when things like winter and starvation could have been the subject matter. It turning into another soap opera. And another crappy conspiracy that goes all the way to the top. Cmon. Fuck off Ravenwood and your shitty evil characters. If even one character wasnt an emotional turncoat I might have liked it better. Im not even American and watching the flag get changed as a plot device was beyond belief and stomach turning.

Please try hard writers. I wanted to like it.

The New Krypton saga is now over. We saw the first issue on the stands and it was the first time we actually bought a Superman title in at least ten years. A superman on a planet of supermen. I guess it was more convenient for DC to run the story in that direction to make Clark the lone and special kryptonian again. But that just degrades the whole idea of the Kryptonian race. Something more epic than this garbage. Like a final battle ending in one tiny jab. He deserves to die easily just like them.com to post a comment to your blog. for the record everyone SGU was “ok” boreing in (90%)
but some parts was kind of good
BUT

NO matter what Star Gate ATLANTIS
was the best Star gate that u will see any time due to the facted that they had the perfect people
not some ASS hole’s like dr rush
now this is how i see this
from over 72 hr’s of LOOKING for ANYTHING i can find on coming 6th season
as far as i can tell there is alot of “talk about it”
some of the maker’s
said abit too much
one of them has said there is alot of talk of making but unsure of this funding at this time i can not say that we are or are “not” making this 6th season
that tell’s me that they are looking for ppl to star in the next showing plz take this is all of words and understanding and well we can only wait and see i would GUESS
this would be start seeing video’s or ANYTHIGN of the 6th seasonwith in the next coming months i would say 2012 around june or something

Personally I never tried to compare the two. Five television series with hundreds of hours of varied casts/characters and despite what many say I wouldn’t consider them all to be in the same universe as such with what eleven movies which oftentimes seemed like just overlong tv episodes. Compared and contrasted with what was never considered to be anything but a film series. Aside from the space thing it always seemed like apples and oranges to me.

SciFy has turned into Ghost central. some how these shows find evidence Every time and people have been looking for proof of ghosts for over 1000 years. WoW they are full of it lol.

They trash SciFy by using the same bad actors in their original shows and when there is a Good show like SGU it get canceled just when it is getting good.

Me and the wife both Loved! SciFy past tense. Looks like that ghost lovers is in charge of the channel now. Every time they launch a new “ghost” or “Paranormal” show it somehow the #1 show on SciFy and #1 best new show on Cable. Hmmmm i can find one person in Real life that likes any there new Favorite shows. Once they changed the logo they lost their minds.

The Watcher was going to erase Peter, because he wasn’t completely erased. That’s why you kept seeing him in flashes. The machine did something to change it so the Watcher didn’t save Peter when he fell into the lake. So the universes were still broken, but Peter never grew up in either one. But somehow, Peter still exists (hopefully) and we’ll see him come back.

Yes, there have been many books with the FOTF series, of which I have read none. The whole plot is outrageous and, oh look, ANOTHER Sith conflict! But, I have been reading reviews of Choices from readers who’ve said that the original feel of the SW Classic trilogy is back in this. I mean, it IS written by Timothy Kriffin’ Zahn: the Father of the EU. Why is it only him who knows what SW is about? I may have to lift my own ban of Del Rey books for just this one. But, to each their own.
