ok we’re now officially excited about Avatar.
Yeaaah the basic premise – good guy on the wrong side – is a little tired but the added concept of good guy not in his own body is kinda cool

Now that the movie is playing I guess we can all say: WOW. The more you watch the movie the more you can see how much work has gone into it. It’s a fairy world, with a hero, a chief’s daughter, the bad guys, the setbacks and the …end. The colors, the sounds, the music are incredible. I was not as impressed with the 3D, it has a different quality. A lot of political inuendo there, too, several subtexts running along. Of course you can just watch it like a fairy tale.
