Happy April Fools Day!!

There are alot of Fools in Sci Fi dom. Our quick list is:

1) Fox for cancelling Firefly

2) Fox for not renewing Sarah Connor Chronicles (yet)

3) George Lucas for not embracing the Expanded Star Wars Universe

4) The producers of Flash Gordon

5) The producers of Bionic Woman.

And of course the most famous ‘Fool’ line:

Who is the more foolish? The Fool, or the Fool who follows him?

And no — we would never call Sir Alec Guiness (or Obi Wan) a Fool.

fuck george lucas. i just read about his “there is no star wars after jedi”. everyone join me in waiting for him to die so his kids can whore out the franchise. its the only way we can get new star wars.

whats the point of buying books when it doesnt count? i have like 70 books. they are worthless now. im done with star wars and as usual lucas ruined it.

There’s “no Star Wars after Jedi” but he sure has no problems milking the 20 years worth between eps III and IV for a new series though doesn’t he?

I think he just doesn’t want to give any fan credit for SW continued popularity. After all it’s the games, books, comics etc of the expanded universe which he has little or no part of that keep lining his pockets with royalties. I’ve always thought Lucas a bit of a hypocrite for that.

I agree with all of the above except the sarah connor chronicles were poorly done and it was a good decision to cancel them.
