The Eighth book in this awesome series - Star Wars Legacy of the Force : Revelation is set for a Feb 26, 2008 release.

Unfortunately it’s written by Karen Travis, the author that wrote the worst book in the series Sacrifice and killed Mara Jade Skywalker.

Who is on the cover? Looks like Jacen.
What’s the Revelation? That the Sith suck?? that He killed Mara?? we’ll find out…

1. Raxus - November 11, 2007

Stupid Jacen…Just die allready!

2. Maloch - November 13, 2007

Go Lord Caedus!!!! So them what it means to sacrafice, show them balance!

3. Darth Sivin - December 3, 2007

Go Darth Caedus show luke and his puny jedi how its really done!

4. dath who - December 4, 2007

jacen is a punk. hes been a punk since the beginning of the new jedi order. they should have killed him off in unifying force. at least then he would be remembered as someone strong. now hes a shadow of vader and hes nowhere near as good as luke. once jaina gets taught by fett she will whoop jacens candy ass. jaina meeting mirta will be good.

go jaina

thats all i have to say about that.

5. Maloch - December 7, 2007

Darth Caedus is here to bring the balance. Just look at what is happening with the war: The Confederation running a much, the Hapes fleet backing out of there obligation to the GAG, The Corilians fireing of the Center Point weapon, the Jedi order seperateing and starting, however unknowingly, a new sort of faction. ( in my opinion the Jedi should never serve the Republic, that blind servitude was the reason for there fall ) Caedus is needed. After the Vong there should have been some settleing down but, the Jedi are not stronge/free enough to take the helm. Caedus Caedus Caedus. That’s the answer. Jaina and her selfish desire to prove that she is indeed the Sword of the Jedi….her potential would be better spent helping the Republic control/make peace with the Confederation. Let Ben find and face Caedus or better yet let him practice patiance and grow to be the stronge Sith Lord he was ment to be.

6. DARTH WHO - December 9, 2007

OK FOLKS. heres some proof about what i said about wookiepedia. its good if you know most of the stuff cuz u can catch their lies.
type in “electric judgement” and they outright lie to you. it says something about destinys way (which i have read at least 5 times)
it says jacen learned it by knowing about force shock.nowhere is forceshock mentioned in any book i’ve read. go to wookie and read it. you will get a laugh.

why does luke have lightning on the cover of swarm war? he doesnt use it in that book. the cover for invincible tells me jaina fights a sith. maybe not jacen though. thank you darth krayt for giving us an option on who the sith is. so many sith now. what lightsaber did jacen use in fury? luke takes jacens blade in inferno. jacen is building his red one in fury but it doesnt tell you anything about the blade he uses now. i know it could just be a spare but they dont tell you the color. they always tell you the color of someones blade!!!!

7. showmescifi - December 9, 2007

right on.
Wookiepedia is a total waste of time and should properly be labeled as a compendium of lies and half truths.

8. Big J84 - December 13, 2007

Yeah, as much as I like Wookieepedia, I have to admit that it’s really starting to suck lately. It’s a breeding ground for personal bias, and unconfirmed speculation.

9. Darth Plagueis99 - December 24, 2007

here is my opinion of what revelation will bring. Since Karen Traviss likes those stinking Mando’s so much, i expect that they will join the losing side, maybe Jacen’s to bring whatever weaponry they have made since Sacrifice. Second, that Jacen will reveal his Sith name to the galaxy. Third, can we see some of the han/leia/luke go away…? I mean, these guys are pretty much done and lived a full life. They are really old at this point…somewhere in their sixties…!!!! Let the next generation take over…take the background guys.

10. Big J84 - December 27, 2007

Yeah, they’ve started to build Jaina up as a fighter, they’ve given Ben a chance to shine, they’ve begun to show that Jag and Zekk are more than just potential boyfriends for Jaina, and even though she’s ruling an empire of 63 worlds, Tenel Ka still has a part to play. You throw in other characters like Tahiri (provided she stops being dark), the Horn siblings, the Antilles sisters, and a few others, and you’ve got the foundations of a great new generation. Why do Luke, Han and Leia always have to save the day? Let the young-bloods do it!

11. Darth Venegnce - January 4, 2008

yeah but just remember the shock when han and leia found out jacen had a daughter…. jaina probally won’t be the one to kill jacen it might either be ben or tenel ka ( my thoughts)…. yet it might surprises us… leia might be the one who kills him or here an idea they have anakin solo return and kill off his brother

12. ODA - January 6, 2008

I disagree with Darth Plagueis99 about the Mandos. I thought that the clone wars series was stupid, but then I read the three clone wars novels that traviss wrote and I was amazed. Everything makes so much sense when I went back and reread Bloodlines and Sacrifice. I agree, Mandalore is a side story, but a very good one, and Traviss did an excellent job. Lets see how the story wraps up, with Jaina and Fett and Mirta and the Skirata clones. As for kicking the old generation out…why do they have to die in order to see the younger ones flourish. Let us fall in love with them, first, and let the old ones die of old age. I liked the twist, where Leia recongizes Allana. In a way the Revenge of the Sith plot is repeated, but this time with a different ending. - What would have happened if Padme survived? or Anakin was pulled back from the dark side. Always in motion the future is, but, we still want Mara Jade back.

13. Darth 4:20 - January 9, 2008

I wish the whole series would get more balanced. Every book is one side or the other “winning”…with the Jedi winning most often. Why do the Jedi always have to “win?” Because everyone likes a happy ending? If Jacen is supposed to be the second most powerful Jedi or Sith after Luke, how could four of them attack him (including three non-masters) and ALL OF THEM survive? That is utter crap. Another thing that is crap is the everyone of any consequence goes against Jacen. Even Tahiri is not with him…she is just infatuated with Anakin. There should have been AT LEAST ONE major character to go to Jacen’s side.

14. Big Bob - January 10, 2008

Go Jacen solo my favorite star wars character of all time!!!

15. Ariel - January 23, 2008

I hope Jacen lives and they bring Anakin Solo back in to the books.

16. Maloch - January 24, 2008

I’m so stoked to hear that there are some Ceadus suporters. I

17. Maloch - January 30, 2008

Just a few short weeks and we will have our book. This time though I wont read any plot summaries. I did with Fury and, while I still enjoyed the book, it wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been if I had only showed more paitience. May Caedus bring the balance. I still think Ben will be the one to be the true sith lord though.

18. everett - January 31, 2008

i hope jacen lives and i think it would be stupid if jaina killed her cause she is no match for jacen. And i think all this mando stuff is crap and shouldn’t even be in the books how old is the bounty hunter like 85? And i think Jacen should kill some of the main characters like luke and leia they are to old to be in the books anyway. And jacen has always been my favorite characters threw out the books. And still is my favorite character the only thing i never got about the book is lumiya was always the good guy and luke the bad guy. So it made sense for jacen to kinda be a good sith but that never happened which kinda sucked a little.

19. Darthsivin - February 2, 2008

I think a new ending is in order and that Cadeus should win. but i dont think that will happen unless he pulls his head out of his *** and I think that the mando thing is pretty cool but to be honest i think they should stop making 20 chapter sections about jaina flurting with zekk and jag and focus more on cadeus.

20. Maloch - February 6, 2008

I agree, more focus on Caedus. I’m hoping to read about him with more control over his pride. He is very much like is granddad. If he can flow walk then I should hope that he will take the lessons learned from Vader and keep in mind not to make the same mistakes. I also agree that the Mando stories are great! Karen does a sweet job if you ask me. And lastly, I don’t think that Caedus should die in this series. I’m looking forward to seeing him solidifying his power and taking control. All he has left is his daughter and she doesn’t deserve to loose him. One more thing, Ben is proving to be quite an excellent charactor with promise to be the future Grand Master or New Sith Lord. Either way he will bring something that no other Jedi or Sith could ever imagine. That charactor is balanced. Unified.

21. Anakin Skywalker's Father - February 6, 2008

How do you all read books when none of you can spell for s**t? You read like a bunch of illiterate babies who understand nothing about the world of Star Wars. And haven’t you all figured out yet, the “Prophecy” was a hoax? There is no “one who will bring balance to the Force”.

22. Maloch - February 7, 2008

I wonder why Anakin Skywalker’s Father is do mad?

23. Maloch - February 7, 2008

I feel like I want to destroy him.

24. darth who - February 7, 2008

technically you could destroy him without worrying about charges being pressed.there was no father so he isnt a real citizen of the empire. lets take out anakins father.

THE FOLLOWING IS FOR ANAKINS FATHER ONLY

anakin had no father you stupid asshole. so f$*k off and go eat some ice cream in mamas room.beotch
PRETTY SURE THE SPELLING IS RIGHT IN THIS ONE ASSFACE

25. The Berserkers - February 10, 2008

The whole story is really good. Especially in Inferno when Luke enters Jacen’s throne room/ battle meditation chamber and gives him a sample of real power pinning him to his chair. Jacen got his ass handed to him! I have to agree though, it is time for Darth Caedus to give us as an audience, a demonstration of some ancient Sith sorcery or arcane knowledge of the untold. Jacen is very powerful and fully organic unlike his wayward grandfather. We’re in for a ride with Revelation coming on the 26th of this month. But moving forward, I’m anticipating the death of the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Legacy of the Force has already leaped foward with the comics series dipicting a force ghost of Luke himself visiting, I’m pretty sure, Cade Skywalker. His descendant. So Ben must have had offspring. And there’s also question as to if Zekk, but its probably Jagged Fel, who has a marriage with Jaina Solo. But however it turns out, the whole story is great!

26. dart who - February 11, 2008

luke dies im done with star wars.

27. Anakin's death was my least favorite death ever!!!! - February 14, 2008

I dont mind leia or luke living but it is time for han to retire.

28. Anakin's death was my least favorite death ever!!!! - February 14, 2008

The berserkers is right that was awesome when luke pinned jacen to his chair

29. Mliscky - February 14, 2008

I agree it is time for Caedus to demonstrate his full power as a sith lord. Time for Caedus to take control of the Galatic Alliance and turn the tide of the war. I’m still not sure who Caedus’s apprentice will be. It still could be Ben. Once Ben finds out for sure who killed his mother, his anger and lust for revenge could tip him over to the darkside. In Sacrifice, Jacen tells us at the end of the book that when Ben finds out that Jacen killed his mother, that anger will make him a great sith lord. There is alot of foreshadowing in this series, so we’ll see what happens to Ben. Another possible apprentice could be Tahiri or Zekk. Zekk was just touched again by the dark side and Caedus could use that along with great jealousy of Jaina and Jag to twist his mind. A great twist in the last two books would be for Jaina to fall to the dark side with Caedus. During their dual, which will happen, Caedus could turn her to the darkside by using their twin bond and his “love” for her to show her that his way is the only way to restore peace to the galaxy.

30. Maloch - February 15, 2008

Mliscky….well put.

31. Mliscky - February 15, 2008

I heard that in Revelation, the Empire gets back in the action. They might be the ones that help Caedus and turn the tide of the war. Also heard that Tahiri will play a bigger role in the book. A possible apprentice for Caedus? I like the idea of the Vong getting involved somehow. probably wont happen, but think that would be cool. Time for Luke and his Jedi to go down. All Hail Lord Caedus!

32. Maloch - February 20, 2008

I’m all about Mliscky. A true supporter of Lord Caedus.

33. darth who - February 21, 2008

everyone needs to calm the hell down. luke is not dying. the heros journey needs the mentor to be lost but mara filled that role for ben.
luke is like a kid compared to obiwan, palpatine, and dooku. let the man live his life.luke lives period.

34. Anakin's death was my least favorite death ever!!!! - February 23, 2008

I agree with darth who a hundred percent han and wedge and some of those other old heros without powers can take admiral ackbars route but luke and leia live

35. mliscky - February 24, 2008

Darth who i’m not saying that Luke is going to die. Dont think he is going to die at all. Just saying that it is time for Luke and his jedi to lose. I love the star wars books but it is time to shake things up a bit and have a different ending than Luke and his jedi win yet again. As usual. To kill Jacen/Caedus would be in my opinion a waste of a series. Even if Caedus doesnt control the galaxy and Luke or Jaina best him, he should still live and escape setting a story for a new series. And I heard people say he should get redeemed. Cant go down the dark path and get saved. Already happened with vader/anakin and Kyp. Denning SHOULD NOT write that story again. As a wise little green man once said, “once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.” but am looking forward to this book and it comes out in 3 days.

36. Maloch - February 25, 2008

Excatly!! I would be a waist to kill Caedus off in this series. I’m also thinking that he may have to kill off those other Sith as it is the rule to only have two…I just think it would be an endless power struggle and the power would be streched too thin. This is the reason that Bane felt he had to destroy the Brotherhood. Reven know this to be true as well. If your not convinced just look at corporations and the infinit power struggle that goes on within. There is always someone looking to take you down and have your position. The rule of two is the only way. Tomarrow people. I requested the day off. Sweet. Can’t wait to see how mliscky feels about the book. GO CAEDUS!!

37. mliscky - February 25, 2008

Cant wait for that book tomorrow! It should be dubbed national caedus day. lol. Maloch I think those sith on Korriban are the ones in the legacy comic book series. So they cant die or even really be discovered. They come into power like 90 years from now or something like that. I personally dont like that the authors wrote them into the series. Kind of are a waste of time unless they play an important role in the last two books. Im hoping that traviss writes well how Caedus tells the galaxy that he is a sith lord. Looking forward to that along with luke finding out that caedus killed mara. Caedus to luke”it was her destiny to fall to me just as it is your destiny to be ruled by me.” hope you like the book too Maloch. Once more the Sith shall rule the galaxy! And we shall have peace.

38. showmescifi - February 25, 2008

national Caedus day!! Great idea!

39. Grand Admiral Wilhelm - February 26, 2008

I haven’t read revelation yet but my prediction is that the Hapes Consotium, the Jedi Republic (for lack of a better term), and the rising Mandolorian Nation will form an alliance devoted soley to removing jacen from power. Imagine jedi fighter pilots in those new Basilisk Fighters that are supposed to be so amazing, it would be an invinceble fighting force. That coupled with the capital ship fleets and funding of the Hapes Consortium make this alliance a viable military power that could perhaps upset the GAG and perhaps replace it altogether.

40. Star Wars Legacy of the Force Revelation OUT TODAY! « Show Me SciFi - February 26, 2008

[...] We’ve been waiting for this book for months and it’s great to finally see it on the shelf (and now in our hands!!) [...]

41. Bored - March 5, 2008

I don’t post on forums much, but I stumbled across this one today and I was wondering if anyone else sees this series as kind of a waste of good characters and/or potential characters that seems to use little to move forward a somewhat disjointed plot line (One twin apparently spent years training to become one of the most powerful people in the galaxy; but the other is going to catch up with a little time spent learning how to fight dirty, there are easier ways to set up a female hero for the future) with little more than “Oh my god he/she/it is dead” shock tactics? I mean it seems kind of foolish to kill, maim or otherwise render useless characters that could potentially be used as the basis for another hundred plus stories in the EU.

42. Maloch - March 5, 2008

Go Karen Travis. I’m stoked on how she writes the Mando’s. I’ve never been into them untill Bloodlines. Nice surprise. And she writes Caedus very well. In her books he doesn’t seem soo weak. I want to read this book again and get some of these points straight. One thing for now. How much of a chance is there for Jaina to become sith. I’ve read the book only once and it seemed like she could be finding here path. Although there was onw part in there were she actually said that she wanted to remain a Jedi. And I think that came from the insert from Invincable. Again, a well writen Caedus and who else was as happy as I was to read the part(s) when Caedus actually told people he was a Sith Lord. That was just cool. More controled, wiser, and more powerful. I look forward to much much more Caedus in the last book and if everyone is thinking logicaly in the future serieses.

43. Maloch - March 5, 2008

Ok, would have liked to read about the impact of Leia and Han finding out that Caedus has a daughter. But, I would understand if somethings were left to the next series to come. I also wonder if Caedus will have to pull a Darth Bane and kill off the Sith on Koraban. I’m a firm believer in the rule of two. ….more to come as soon as I read it over again. Where’s mlisky? What did you think?

44. mliscky - March 8, 2008

The book was good. Your right Maloch, Traviss does write Caedus well. I’m glad that Caedus finally has an apprentice. I was getting a little sick of the mando’s toward the end of the book. I usually liked them in her books but she had like the last three chapters dedicated to them. It is strange when you read that All the main characters already know that Jacen is a sith lord. jacen never said that he was, and he could just be a dark jedi. And since he is a sith, you would think that the jedi would be alot more aggressive trying to bring him down. I’m hoping that Caedus does live on after this series, along with his new apprentice. I said before that this series foreshadows, and in the beginning of the novel it was stated twice that Jacen was not invincible. So im hoping that he will be the one invincible in the last book.

45. mliscky - March 8, 2008

I agree with you bored. The character developement is taking forever and getting repetitive. I still say that jaina can not beat Caedus when they fight. Caedus is alot more powerful than she is and a better swordsman. Beviin was trying to teach jaina that when she attacks she should put everything out of her mind and just go for the kill. She then will not go to the dark side and she could think about what she had done later. I find this kind of funny. It is almost saying that this will be the edge she needs to fight Caedus. There is no edge. This is exactly how the Sith fight. They have no conscience. They just see what’s in their way and the kill it. should take Luke to beat Caedus or Jaina with more jedi with her.

46. mliscky - March 8, 2008

I’m optomistic that Caedus can win in the last book. They set it up for him so that it could happen. First, Caedus now has the moffs on his side. In the introduction to invincible in the back of revelation, Fett and jaina were on some planet being taken over by stormtrooppers and the Moffs. Second, Nathial just set up a new government to counter Caedus and the GA. And when Nathial tried mutiny on Caedus during the battle, she asked the GA to take sides. Either hers or Jacen’s. And she stated after the battle that she was disappointed that most fled back to Coruscant with Jacen. This might be setting up another rebellion alliance? One thing is for sure. Can’t wait for Caedus to kill Shevu, Dont know his name for sure right now, but that guy helping out ben. When Caedus finds out that he is doing this, he is going to electricute is a**. And this guy better not be the downfall of Caedus just cuz Caedus trusts him with just about everything.

47. Bored - March 9, 2008

The only good thing I see from this series is that the galaxy is fractured into multiple factions, which sounds like a more interesting atmosphere for future novels to me. As for this Legacy of the Force series I have to say that I find it on the whole to be one of the worst out of the EU. The writing seems clunky to me in that it goes from one somewhat benign book to one that is exceptionally dark and brooding then back again; the mood just doesn’t seem contiguouos. They ought to leave the Jacen Solo character alive at the end of this series in my opinion. It doesn’t really matter in what state really: leading a chunk of the galaxy, in hiding, in exile, sith or jedi, haunted repentant or unrelenting tyrant, whatever the case may be; I would hope that they don’t just tie everything up in a nice neat little package of “the beneficent Jedi have once again struck a blow against the heineous Sith.” After spending the bulk of eight books so far trying to muddy the waters of morality (usually with banal shock tactics, killing long standing characters, repeated attrocities that the galaxy can’t seem to comprehend, this is after another Jedi turned Sith destroyed several planets with super novas and after a galaxy spanning war killing trillions of course) just turning it into a “good triumphs over evil” type of ending would be trite. I suppose another reason I hold this oppinion is that on the whole I see the Jaina character as somewhat two dimensional wheras the Jacen character seems to have been written about in much greater depth. Having her kill the other with a loose tie in to the NJO “Sword of the Jedi,” would be as inappropriate to me as having one of Ivanovna’s children come along and kill Raskolnikov simply because they were mentioned. Deep characters should be thwarted by deep characters not caricatures.

And yes I am bored again lol.

48. mliscky - March 9, 2008

I agree with you bored when you say that the galaxy being fractured into multiple fractions would be good for future novels. There could be three fractions in the galaxy. The GA alliance with Caedus, which would probably be renamed, The other GA alliance being led by Nathail and the Jedi, and lastly the empire being led by Daala and the moffs who didnt side with Caedus. But Caedus almost has to live because like you said, you can’t give the character so much depth and be the focal point of the whole series, just to kill him in the end just so the good guys, the jedi, can win again. I said this before, denning better not write a redemption story for Jacen. If he does that, I would rather have Caedus die in combat. it better be leading the galaxy, in hiding, or just getting away to start a new plan. The more I think about the fight with Caedus and Jaina, something big and surprising is going to happen. For us the readers, we just expect Jaina to fight him and beat him. Where’s the drama in that. Sure, twin versus twin is drama. But it is not going to be a fight where there is going to be a clear cut winner and its over. Caedus kills Jaina? Jaina leaves Caedus for dead but he isn’t really dead? Jaina joins Caedus as a sith, later in novels to be redeemed by Zekk or Jag? Before Jaina even fights Caedus, Jaina kills tahiri thus turning her to the dark side?

49. Anakin's death was my least favorite death ever!!!! - March 9, 2008

I think Caedus is going to kill jaina, and i cant wait for the next book to come out.

50. mliscky - March 10, 2008

In Invincible, I’m looking Foward to Caedus fighting with his new red sith lightsaber. Looking forward to the verbal confrontations that Caedus will have with luke, leia, han, jaina, ben, and any other jedi. Leia to Caedus, “look at what you have become. The person who was my son jacen is dead. I will not let you ruin the galaxy as palpatine once did. Your a monster and must be stopped.” Caedus to leia, “What I have become is stronger than any jedi, and the only person strong enough to bring peace to the galaxy. i will succeed where the jedi have always failed. And no one will stand in my way to achieve that goal. If that means you leia, then so be it.” I heard somewhere that the big 3 will not die. But it would be nice if Caedus would kill Han in front of leia and luke. I’m demented sometimes. Hope that denning gives tahiri a darth title. That would be cool.

51. Grand Admiral Wilhelm - March 10, 2008

Maybe Darth Vongus.

52. Anakin's death was my least favorite death ever!!!! - March 10, 2008

” But it would be nice if Caedus would kill Han in front of leia and luke. I’m demented sometimes. Hope that denning gives tahiri a darth title. That would be cool.”

I would also like to see Han get killed, but i dont care how just want it to happen.

53. Admiral Wilhelm - March 10, 2008

On the subject of Luke’s death Jedi are supposed to be able to use the force to manipulate the proceses inside their bodies. If this holds true I do not forsee Luke dying of old age. This would also be out of line with the “Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword” concept that is pretty much universal. Luke will die one of three ways: He will die like Anakin Solo did in NJO fighting unbeatable odds. OR He will kill himself in shame for his failures. OR he will choose to seperate himself from life early using the force to be close to Mara in the way that Yoda gave up definitley ascending to a higher plane of existence where he will remain an active player for the rest of time. Remember that he talks to his grandchild as a force ghost. This is something that we have never seen before as Obi Wan went away after a number of years. In the Words of Obi Wan “If you kill me now I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.”

54. mliscky - March 11, 2008

Don’t know how or when they will kill Luke off, but one thing i know for sure is that he will not kill himself. Whether its depression or shame, no suicide. Luke will probably die in combat, like anakin did in NJO, or will will die facing a very dangerous foe. Anikan solo’s death was probably the best death in the whole EU book series. Facing all those enemies at once. A heroic stand. Another great death was with Ganner in traitor. Taking on all those vong to give jacen time. “None shall pass!” i’m hoping that there are deaths in Invincible. Hope it is a dark book all around. Caedus wins, many jedi die, and “dark times” begin again just like ROTS.

55. Maloch - March 11, 2008

I second that! I’m very curious as to what role the Koraban Sith will play. I got the impression that they didn’t like Caedus waging a war in there name. They had some plan to have the Sith Empire regain there former glory, though, by making the same mistakes as the Dark Brotherhood. Too much much power spread thin amongst the ranks. The basic way of the Sith makes that almost impossible and very unstable..” to be united in hate is a fragile aliance at best”, Kreia said, and, I feel that is true. So what role will they play. Maybe Caedus will find an apprentice or maybe perhaps ( I’m hopeing for this ) Tahiri will prove herself by proving that she is the stronger apprentice. Caedus and Tahiri, to me, make a perfect team as, they were both changed by the Vong and have benifited and become stronger for it. So far the Empires deal to join the GA is pretty ambiguous. It didn’t seem solid enough. Will Daala work with Caedus? She has the Mando’s on here side! And Jaina is pretty much one of them now. Are the Mandos going to favor the Jedi? Some of this doesn’t look good for Lord Caedus. More reading and interperatation maybe will help turn up these questions. Always a pleasure to read your comments mliscky, a TRUE passion for the dark side is always admired.

56. mliscky - March 12, 2008

Maloch, did you hear of the legacy comics that have been out the last couple of years? They take place like almost 80-100 years after LOTF. There are many sith, like the brotherhood from darth bane’s time, and they take control over the galaxy and rule it. I don’t read the comics, so i can’t tell you exactly what happens. But i read people talking on line that these sith on Korriban in LOTF are the ones that take over in the comics. Why would the authors write them in? I don”t know. If the sith on Korriban don’t do something in the last book, their whole write in would be a waste of time. But in the comics, nobody knows about the sith, not even the jedi, so they can’t be discovered at all in LOTF

I beleive that tahiri will be caedus’s “one” true apprentice. She is the only person who is on Caedus’s side. No other jedi are. And i think they do make a good master-apprentice because they both have been “transformed” by the vong. People are saying that tahiri is just pretending to side with Caedus to maybe bring him down. Don’t agree with that at all. She killed somebody in cold blood. That’s not pretending. once you start down that path of evil, you cannot stop. One thing will always lead to another.

58. Admiral Wilhelm - March 12, 2008

I think the sith conspiracy mentioned in fury is not so much of revival of the rule of two as a use of Jacen to kill off all the jedi. Once Jacen kills off all of the jedi including Ben, Luke will finally realize, too late, that he is the only one who stands a chance of taking him down. He and jacen will fight and kill each other. The Jedi Order will be demolished forever unable to rise again because no one will be left to teach. The Sith that have been hiding in fear of Luke will rise and bring peace back to the galaxy. It makes sense because the GAG government has more in common with the Sith Order than the Jedi Order.

59. mliscky - March 14, 2008

I never really thought of that. That would be clever of the sith on korriban to let Caedus Kill off as much jedi as he can. like you said admiral wilhelm, the more caedus can kill off, the easier it will be for them to rule. Especially if caedus could kill off luke.

60. Maloch - March 14, 2008

That is exactly why the Sith on Koriban MUST be destroyed. Only one may live but, only to answer questions and then…..there can only be two…

61. mliscky - March 15, 2008

The book covers of this series have not been accurate when dealing with the stories. Han and Leia were on Exile. Luke on inferno. Ben on fury. You would think that those characters would be the main people talked about in the book and the book title would express the characters. But if you noticed, every book title is dealing with Jacen/Caedus. Betrayal-Jacen deciding to be a sith. Bloodlines-jacen following his grandfather’s past. Tempest-Jacen being ever more tempted by Luminya and the dark side. Exile-Jacen now being “dead” to his family and friends. Sacrifice-Jacen killing mara to become a sith lord. Inferno-Caedus burning up the wookie planet due to people not siding with him. Fury-Caedus furious with everyone except Allana, and even more furious when she is taken from him. Revelation-Everyone finds out who and what Caedus is and did. So in Invincible, Does that have to do with Caedus also? Is that even Caedus fighting Jaina on the cover? Tahiri is a sith now with a red lightsaber. You only see the person’s back against Jaina, and Tahiri has hair that long too. Another miss direction with a book cover? What do you guys think?

62. Bored - March 16, 2008

Personally I wish they’d leave references to comics out of the novels anyway. Such as the half a dozen times “world devastators” are mentioned throughout the earlier EU books.

63. mliscky - March 16, 2008

I definetly agree bored. I I was reading the series and didn’t know about the sith on korriban and there future, I would be pissed with the authors. I would be thinking, how come these sith don’t want to help Caedus or even want to be associated with him. These sith play 2 parts in the books, and thats it. If they don’t do something in Invincible, There whole part is a waste of time and you think to yourself why the hell would you write them in. DON’T intertwine the comics and the books.

[...] starwars trackback After 3 weeks of some really great reading..we’re ready to finally offer a full review of Star Wars Legacy of the Force Revelation (which officially came out on Feb 26, [...]

65. Admiral Wilhelm - March 18, 2008

I dislike the idea of even having the comics. I mean seriously if i draw some pictures and add some words I could effectively change the whole course of star wars history. Only George Lucas and the Star Wars novel writers should make the decisions about where the story will go.

66. mliscky - March 23, 2008

I read on-line an exert of what be the summary of Invincible. It seems ok. The exert was saying that there will be one huge battle in some asteroid-like planet. It says that caedus will find the new hidden base of the jedi near Hapes and try to destroy it. Luke knows that Caedus knows the location of the base and has to do anything to bring him down. BUT, is afraid to face him because he might fall to the dark side fighting Caedus out of anger and revenge for the killing of Mara. That is why Jaina goes to fight Caedus instead of Luke. The exert also stated that Luke will give Jaina a force illusion that will cause Caedus to think that Luke is the one fighting him, not Jaina. And that the fate of the galaxy will hang in the balance between a sith lord and the sword of the jedi…

67. mliscky - March 23, 2008

i hope that this is not true in the stand point that I am sick and tired of these stupid force illusions. Force illusions every freakin book and Caedus falls for it every time. If luke is having a force illusion for Jaina, why the hell did she even go to Fett to “train.” And Luke is being suck a coward if this exert is true. I’m not going to fight Caedus cuz I might go to the dark side. Get over your stupid emotions and face him. Didn’t see yoda say Im not going to fight Sidious cuz I might fall to the dark side. Luke, your the greatest jedi ever. Start acting like it! But the exert did say “…in the stunning conclusion to the series. Hopefully that means Caedus wins or something unexpecting happens. Is having Caedus lose Stunning?

68. darth who - March 23, 2008

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

youre a bunch of whiny bitches. comics are part of the expanded universe. get over it and buy the comics. lukes not a bitch hes the leader and leaders send others to fight.

69. Bored - March 23, 2008

Comics are no more a part of the Expanded Universe than the reams of fanfiction online.

70. mliscky - March 24, 2008

Yes, comics are part of the star wars universe, but leave the comics in the realm of the comics. Don’t incorporate the comics with the books. The comics and the books have their own special “entities” about them. Darth who, do you see any reason why the authors should have written the “one” sith into the LOTF books? As the story is going right now, there was no reason to do it. Totally irrelevant. So why even write them in?

71. mliscky - March 24, 2008

And Luke is being a bitch. yea, leaders send others to fight, and even to their deaths. But against a foe like Caedus, One of the strongest, if not the strongest force person alive, Luke should be there to fight him. You didn’t see Mace Windu saying to the other Jedi masters, “I’m going to stay here while you guys go and arrest sidious, the last Dark Lord of the Sith.” Or yoda say to obi-wan, even though sidious is to powerful for you and you will die, I’ll still go after vader and you take sidious.

72. Maloch - March 24, 2008

If Luke does give Jaina a force illusion, why would it be of Luke himself, why not give her one of Allana. Not that she will need an illusion. She is being trained by the Mandos and she’s his twin. As I’ve read in Revelations, Caedus still has that part of his old self deep inside when it comes to Jaina. He still sees her as his, or rather Jacen’s twin. And he only remembers her a certain way. Which is why Boba is trying to teach her to fight differently to think differently, so that Caedus woundn’t have the advantage of anticipating her style. Only if Lord Caedus can truely control his emotions will he be able to fend off the threat from his twin sister. I believe that our new Dark Lord will survive if only to provide more fuel to Ben’s fire and forshadow the boys future as the new: Leader of the Jedi, New Sith Lord, or possible a leader who encompases both ends of the spectrum and ultimatly brings a new found peace to the galaxcy. Ben Skywalker controls his emotions VERY well. But, he will need Caedus to reach these climaxes. There are soo many great possibilities in this last book and the series to come. MAY LORD CAEDUS SOLIDIFY HIS HOLD ON THE GALAXCY!!!!

73. Maloch - March 24, 2008

I hope Invincible is like six hundered pages.

74. mliscky - March 25, 2008

I hope there is no illusion that luke gives to jaina. I wouldn’t like it. The drama would be out of the fight if caedus didn’t know it was jaina. I heard the Invincible is only going to be 300 to 320 pages only. That sucks. Hoped it would be a lot longer. I think the whole Ben thing of becoming a sith apprentice is over. Ben can’t be seduced by Jacen anymore, and won’t listen to anything he would tell him. But I could be wrong. I hope the whole LOTF series was about the start and creation of Darth Caedus, and the next series of books will be Darth Caedus’s rule over the galaxy.

75. Kaz - March 26, 2008

You’re an absolute idiot. Killing Mara Jade makes perfect sense, strategically for Caedus, and for the plot. Karen Travis is a brilliant author, and her use of Boba Fett to add some variation to the series from the other 3 author’s essentially exact same template was a brilliant move.

76. Admiral Wilhelm - March 30, 2008

Perhaps Jacens ascension as a full dark lord of the sith was the whole point of LOTF. It makes sense because now a whole new series can be written about Caedus hunting and killing all the Jedi with the jedi doing all they can to stop him but losing. We will buy up any and all books they write and give them alot of money. All they have done is made an event that they could have done in a Trilogy take ten books and then will sell twenty more books on the killing of Luke Skywalker.

77. mliscky - March 31, 2008

I hope you are right admiral wilhelm. You could look back on the series and think to yourself that this was a great series. You can analyze everything that Jacen/Caedus did and know it wasn’t for nothing. Because I feel if they just kill him off or he loses with nothing, There will be no point of turning him into a Sith. By winning or being “Invincible” in the final book, they can set Caedus up for being one of the greatest Sith Lords ever.

78. maloch - March 31, 2008

You know, with all that Karen Travis bashing that came about with the death of Mara Jade, it’s good to hear some praise. Balance!! I’m a Mando fan now cause of her. Bloodlines did it. LOL, everytime my buddy and I play online wer’re hollaring ” For Mandolore!!!!” So job well done lady in regard to writing great Mando stories. Anyone reading these blobs or whatever, know that I’m a Caedus fan. With that said, I don’t want to leave Ben out of any equation, even though the next series isn’t even a twinkle in the sky, I believe that certain events have taken place in this series, to forshadow Ben becoming someone very powerful. And also Leia, I’d be interested in her having a role in the destiny of the galaxy, more that a just being the mother of our new Sith Lord. May the force be with Caedus….oh hey! Now that the Jedi are on some asteroide near Hapes, Caedus may have to run into the Queen Mother. How will Allana handle feeling her father in the area? Man….soooo much story to take care of and only one more book. I’ll be needing some closure in this series folks. Let’s hope for more that a puny 300 pages. Remember Unifying Force. 500 some odd pages! Which I put gravy on and devoured…Only started reading star wars books after the L.A. Celebration.

79. mliscky - March 31, 2008

I loved it when they killed off Mara. A lot of people didn’t, but i did. I liked Mara’s character, but it is always good when they kill main characters when it doesn’t hurt the story. When Caedus killed her, it was his ascension to a Sith Lord. You have to make different things happen in novels, not just the same old stuff happening.

80. mliscky - March 31, 2008

Stories are never fun or suspenseful when the good guys always win and they never die.

81. Admiral Wilhelm - March 31, 2008

It is true that in all the books before the NJO series you could always count on the main characters/good guys surviving. Vector Prime changed all that when Chewbacca died followed by Anakin Solo. From that point on we could never count on anyone surviving a book or series. Of interest also is the part of Revelation where Admiral Daala is talking to Boba Fett about the possibility of putting all the force users in a large Beskar cage. I admit that this will be the end of all the stories involving jedi but seriously these poor people need a break from all the violence coming from the light and dark wars. The galaxy enjoyed eons of peace before the Clone Wars and hasn’t been fully at peace since simply because it is easier to write war novels than novels in a peaceful setting. Eventually the common people will have to get tired and then refuse to fight each other any more.

One last thing I think we should move our discussions to the Invincible page because this one is pretty full.

82. mliscky - March 31, 2008

I put a comment in the Invincible discussions. The one that says will jaina kill Jacen? but i will check both to further discuss invincible, LOTF, and Darth Caedus. But that’s why it is time for Caedus to rule, have peace at last, and hunt down the jedi.

83. Maloch - April 1, 2008

I’m good with going to the Invincible page. 44 or 43 more days!

84. Joshdasmiter - April 17, 2008

Look at the jacket cover of invincible. Jaina’s pretty obvious and we all expect the fight with Jacen. Maybe i just dont want either to die (more jacen then jaina but whatever), but thats not Jacen. The hair, its grey…and why not show his face on the jacket? The traditional two blades crossed with grunting faces of one another…no we all expect it so thats what we all see…. Also look at the background. Its not a star destroyer. Its stone and blocky….not some random asteroid corridor either. My money is on Korriban. Jaina’s fighting white eyes on the jacket cover. That does not mean i dont think the book will not have the two of them fight, though i want the fight to be with Luke but even im not delusional enough to believe that will happen.

I have one last delusional hope which i know is a million to one in odds. Remember what inspired this whole transition of Jacen’s? The Sith Lord who just sat back while the universe remained stable? Sith Lords do not need to rule the galaxy if the galaxy is in order. What if Jacen is thrown out of power and as a result the galaxy goes back to its calm ways? He can go into exile, all main characters live, and i have a reason to keep reading….

One last thing. Jacen swore in “Bloodlines” that once he became Sith Lord he would flow walk back to the time when his granddad turned and seek console….i want to see that conversation before (if!) Jacen dies….

85. questions... - May 20, 2008

I never understood the flow walking thing. Can he influence events when he does that, or does he just watch stuff, then freak out?
