It isn’t like the original had a huge amount of depth to spoil or outstanding performaces that would overshadow a remake. And as hot as Jane was, you could still find somebody hotter.

I’d be fine with another sexy sci fi film, and maybe that will keep Hollywood busy for a while and away from things they really, really, really shouldn’t try to remake.

Now that would be worth it, as it was the best version, though choppy with all the editing to get it down to four hours.

I’m not sure if a remake is such a great idea. It looks like some of those things that worked fine in the 60s but to adapt the script now would imply to change it so much that it would be harldy the same movie… But then, I’m not a fan of remakes I fear. We’ll see…

Still, it’s a great movie. I have a feeling they’ll be dumbing down the weird aspects of it that made it such a cult film.
